I absolutely LOVE origami! There are so many brilliant things to do; whether it's cards, mobiles, or just having a new skill origami is always on my favorite list.
I've recently added a new member to my family, a red and white ryukin goldfish by the name of Elephant, and I love him. Dearly. So with my new-found love I've decided to do none other than make origami fish!
Basically you start with what is called a "waterbomb base." I really don't know why it's called that, but make sure when you fold the lines, it's folded on both the front and back!
NOW, LE' FISH!

It might help to use a pencil and put it through what would be the body of the fish so that it looks more "fish-like." I used this particular fish to make my dad's Father's Day card, but I seriously can't even describe how many totally awesome things there are to do with origami, so I advise you go forth and make some cool things! Get creative! woo!
